Windsor Salt
It was 1893, in Windsor (Ontario), when three employees of the Canadian Pacific Railway Company (C.P.R.) began a subsidiary they called The Windsor Salt Company Limited. Within a few years, the fledgling operation was sold and became The Canadian Salt Company Limited.
